Lizbeth: A Pure Knight's Tale is the first poem I have sought to publish. Inspired by the strength of my own mother, Lizbeth is a 42 stanza "epic" poem designed for audiences 4th grade and above. Lizbeth is the story of a young girl who goes on a brave journey into a dark, enchanted forest in an effort to impress the King and win a seat at his round table. She learns some valuable life lessons along the way. You will quickly fall in love with Lizbeth and her bravery. This powerful female character will empower girls and young ladies to believe they can be anything and accomplish anything!

About the Author
Tyler Blackmore grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Asbury Park, New Jersey in 2007. He has been an English teacher and principal but always pursued his love of writing, particularly writing poetry. He lives in Asbury Park with his amazing wife, Amy, and their two cats Philly and Athena. In addition to writing, Tyler loves to encourage students to overcome their own fear of writing.
