The Vineyards is a captivating story of a poor maid, but through an accident in a rainstorm takes the place of another. As time passes there is another accident in the rain and our poor little girl convinces others of her place in life. She marries her rescurer and this begin a life connection with The Vineyards. A romantic tale of four generations of ladies. You find yourself in Germany, then to America and back to Germany where the vines of the G Vineyards sing a lullabye.

About the Author

Marianne was born and raised in Fennimore, a small town in Southwest Wisconsin. She married Robert Brechler and they raised three daughters: Trudie, Sarah, and Marci. Because of years of heart problems Marianne and Robert moved to the warm climate of Naples, Florida in 1982, where Robert passed away. Marianne still lives in Naples and is especially proud of her eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. It was during the many years of Robert’ illness that Marianne wrote this book (20 years ago). She later married Gene Zarek who has since passed away. Thus, it was time to clean out the closets and in so doing found the manuscript and the decision was made to have it published.
