Grandma Rachel could do awesome things. One day, I had a loose tooth that needed to come out. Each time that I would try to eat something, my tooth would wiggle and give me the blues. I was moaning and crying all day long. I kept whaling and complaining to my grandma Rachel about it until finally she told me that she had a remedy for it. Back then, my father couldn't afford to take me to the dentist. She took a tiny thread from her sewing box and wrapped it around my tooth. With the other end of the thread she wrapped it around the door knob and yanked. It was gone! I was shocked! I didn't even have time to scream or holler! In a flash my tooth was gone. I had a big open space between my teeth. My Grandma Rachel just giggled and walked away.

I Love You grandma... I Love You Too is a book about a grandmother who expresses her love for her grandchildren and suddenly she takes a look back and reminisce about her Grandma Rachel who gave her quality time and unselfish love to help raise her as a child. A beautiful tribute to grandmothers everywhere.
About the Author
Debbie Sheffield-Barnett is a veteran teacher (retired, 1981-2014) from the Oklahoma City Public School System. She received a BS degree in Elementary Education and minor in music (piano) from the University of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond Oklahoma. Debbie is an accomplished singer, musician, and now a new author of her first children's book The Box. During her years in the classroom, Debbie used her childhood experiences to teach various character expectations and traits to those students who may have gone through hurt, anger, loneliness, sorrow and other struggles and how to overcome them. She decided to put these experiences that she used as oral lessons in the classroom into written stories for all to read and enjoy. Debbie is a member of the Ebenezer Missionary Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and serves and dedicates her musical and teaching abilities to the work of the church ministry. Debbie lives in Del City, Oklahoma with her husband Charles. She has 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
