Charles Sanderfur is a National Board Certified Life and Executive Coach, with the Center for Credentialing and Education, a Nationally Certified Psychotherapist and holds Ordination Credentials with the Assemblies of God U.S.A. He received graduate training at the University of Tennessee, and coaching certification and training at the Institute of Life Coach Training and the College of Executive Coaching Pismo Beach, California.
He is best known for his work with ordinary people assisting them to reach success levels often beyond their own current dreams. Great numbers of clients attribute to Dr. Sanderfur the credit for helping them to first believe in themselves, then plan their life path and ultimately achieve great success. He has been the coach behind great educational, business, and life achievements by individuals by drawing out the greatness already there but lying dormant.
For the past 28 years he has served as Lead Pastor for New Vision Church of Knoxville, Tennessee and done extensive work with Foster and Adoptive children through the Patria Foster Care Agency and Koinonia Counseling Center. Dr. Sanderfur is clearly a practitioner who has written this book for practitioners to be able to quickly apply the effective techniques of Solution Focused Life Coaching. A firm believer in the words of emancipator Fredrick Douglas who said, “It’s easier to build strong children than to repair broken men;” Dr. Sanderfur makes time to coach children and teens challenging them to play the music that has been placed within them; to dream large and to chase their dreams.

Married for 38 years to his college sweetheart Marlene; they have 3 biological, six adopted and 11 grand children. A former college athlete, he has worked with legends in the sports and entertainment fields including the late great Gospel Singer Jessy Dixon and NFL hall of fame Defensive End Reggie White.
