She has a tender, playful, sometimes crude, style yet she maintains her integrity. ‘Lovers Between the Sheets’, quite deliberately arouses and seduces the reader in sensual rhythms and rhymes.

About the Author

The Author ________________________________________ Ashley was born and raised and still keeps residence in Toronto, ON. Canada. Ashley Elizabeth Clyke is the only child of her divorced parents; her Black Canadian father and her South Asian mother. Growing up, she was a straight A student with a keen interest in arts and literature – happy and content in a low income, single parent environment. After high school, she thought it best to discontinue her studies and seek employment in the restaurant industry as a waitress; a job she finds very rewarding. She never forgets her passions and would constantly work on them in her spare time. Among these passions – to mention a few – martial arts, photography, modeling—writing was one, especially poetry. She has written wonderful poems since very young. In high school one of her poems was chosen for an anti- racist campaign by the government of Canada. “Human, One Planet One Race”.
