Loneliness Loneliness is a grain of salt that isn't salty, A child that is always naughty. Loneliness is a grain of sugar that isn't sweet, A man that consistently experiences defeat. Loneliness is a child that doesn't laugh, A baby unable to cry. Loneliness is water that isn't wet, An old woman with many regrets. Loneliness is a clock that doesn't tick, A candle without a wick. Loneliness is a leafless tree. Loneliness is a teapot without tea. Loneliness is what no one wants to be.

About the Book
My writings began as a diary or journal. My young adulthood was very rocky, including an unhappy marriage, depression and employment that I did not enjoy. I would write to relieve stress. I would write about things that were important to me, my existence and the creation surrounding me. I am a visual artist. my thoughts are expressed though colors, shapes and emotional attachments.
About the Author
Evelyn begin writing her journal around age twenty five. She is now 73 years old. She was born in Houston, Texas and is the third oldest of nine children. Due to past unique experiences in life, her writings would be of interest to readers of all ages. Throughout the past years her many careers include being a licensed cosmetologist, a licensed nurse and owned a home improvement business. She returned to school at a late age of 50 to attain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Fine Arts. After graduation from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas she became employed by Continental Airlines as a Reservation Agent. This began her extensive journey throughout international and domestic travel which helped to inspire her creativity through visual arts and creative writing. She has transformed her home into the community art gallery extending her creativity into the landscape. She would like to share her life experiences and creativity with her family, friends and future readers to encourage people of all ages to seek and explore new adventures throughout their life.
