The author is a graduate with honors from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, where she majored in Mass Communication and received her Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2011, she became an inductee in the Who’s Who Among Professionals and Executives. The author has received numerous awards and honors throughout her life in academics and now in her expressive writings. She is a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and the Alpha Phi Omega Co-Ed Service and Fraternity. The author lives with her loving family and adorable pets in Chicago, Illinois.
