Poetry can be found throughout the ages. Many cultures have shared poetry as a celebration of the written word. Poetry for All Seasons is written with five concepts in mind: rhyme, rhythm, images, sound and originality. It is my hope that you enjoy this poetry from cover to cover. About the Author

About the Author Ann Boyle was born in New York and then moved to South Florida with her family when she was ten years old. After completing high school, she studied Education at Florida Atlantic University and went on to complete a Master’s degree in 1982. As a Merit Teacher in Florida’s public school system, she completed a 30 - year teaching career and then relocated to Washington State. She continues to write poetry that expresses the importance of a happy and tranquil life. Upbeat and contemporary, it calls upon the reader to experience the world as a serene place, where imagination can certainly flourish. About the Illustrator Tony Mellish, born in Worksop in Nottinghamshire, England, studied at Reading University in Berkshire. In 1968, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics. He then worked as a copy editor for Penguin Education. Continuing his schooling at Brighton University in Sussex, he earned his Master of Science Degree in Solid-State Physics. Tony has worked in various jobs, such as Research Scientist for I.C.I. and also enjoyed a spell of voluntary work at a residential school in Asdrossan, Scotland. He is now retired and resides in Worksop. He states that he has “never been busier” and continues to draw scenes from his own life experiences which add to his extensive file of original artwork.
