Monster Bella is in a Bad Mood is about a little girl with a unique sense of style, who can’t seem to get out of her Bad Mood until her mother convinces her otherwise.

About the Author

Maggie Meils is a mother of two daughters, and an aunt to a special needs child. She knows that having a difficult child can sometimes be overwhelming. After working at a group home, Maggie learned the power of redirection. Teaching kids to cope with moods that are hard to deal with, and redirecting them, helps difficult children get through their day. Inspired by her own “Monster Bella”, she decided to write a children’s book to teach kids that their attitude will determine the kind of day they have. A graduate from Riverside Community College in Moreno Valley, California, Maggie Meils has always wanted to write a children’s book. She has two daughters, Victorya Meils, 13 years old, and Kenadie, who was the inspiration for “Monster Bella” is 10.
