Date with Destiny

The hallway is long, shorter to the left where Mary's room is and where the sound of music is coming from so the better choice is to the right. If I know daddy there is an office here somewhere.. That should be a good place to start, I just have to find it. Can't tell from the darkness but it looks like the walls are painted a baby blue color. 2 Paintings on the wall I can barely see or recognize. Could this be my mother? Daddy doesn't speak if her much except that she died having me. Once, I found pictures of them, she obviously pregnant with me while I was playing in his study, I must have been about 10 or 11 because that was the last time he gave me a whopping so hard, I didn't want to go back to school let alone ever go back in there. Nothing in this next room either. daddy reads the paper so there must be one somewhere. Just as I was about to give up and try my luck at another room, I see what looks like a box underneath a table covered by a table cloth and a half completed puzzle on top. Curiosity leads me to the couch, Taking a quiet position on the leather couch after picking up this heaving thing that surprisingly isn't locked, I can hardly catch my breath. The date is 2 months earlier. The headline has got to be wrong, "Larry Taylor is arrested for the murder of Destiny Hodgkin, daughter if real estate mogul S. Wayne Hodgkin."
