Sometimes you go through things without realizing what it takes to get through it. You look back and then it hits you. How did that happen? That's when you become aware that someone is looking out for you. You thread the eye of a needle with a four ton vehicle and a semi. You lose control of your car, spinning on black ice through traffic, ending up on the other side, up against the curb. How do you explain it? You get caught in a ridge of snow on the highway. It pulls you sideways. You know you are about to lose it, but by some chance, you make the right moves and get back in control. How did you get out of that one? That is why I have faith. That is also why, I am the only one, that would choose to ride alone with me driving. On purpose! The sweet times, the ones that make you glad of the struggle won, and the effort spent. The times you can let down your guard. You put yourself in the arms of another and trust them to take care of you. You are not easily led, but you go against your nature and let it happen. Of all the lessons you learn in life, is what brings you to this, when your reluctance has been beaten into you. You feel the eyes on you and that it will be alright.
