A Boy’s Basic Guide to Puberty’s intent is to educate young boys about some of the changes they will experience in the pre-teen and teen years. Topics are discussed with both medical and laymen terminology so that a complete understanding is achieved. It’s non-intimidating format allows for open communication with friends, parents, or other trusted adults. It provides useful information without all the overwhelming details.
About the Author
I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I received a Bachelors in Arts in Psychology in 1986 from Framingham State University. I returned to school in the early 1990's to obtain my Registered Nurse Diploma. I graduated in 1997. Currently I am a Registered Nurse at a Trauma Center in Boston, Massachusetts. I have worked in Nursing for the past 17 years. Prior to my current career, I worked in the Humans Services field, employed as a social worker and other mental healthcare roles. Educating children and young adults has always been a priority and passion for me. My wife and I have 4 children, 3 girls, ages, 22, 19, and 14 and 1 boy, age 11 We currently reside in Mansfield, MA, a town 30 miles south of Boston.
