About the Book
Moles aren't blind, but they are color blind and see very poorly. They can only see light and movement. They use little movement and scent sensors on the tip of their nose to find prey and other moles. Glasses for Moe is for children ages 3 through 8. The story is about a little Mole that desires to see all the wonderful things around him. Moe was to see nature which includes grass, flowers, water and the sun. Moe also wants to see the faces of the ones he loves, like family and friends. Children will learn about the going to the optometrist (eye doctor). Young readers will also learn about the five senses… sight, taste, smell, touch and sound, as well as colors, letters and numbers as they read this colorful and encouraging story.
About the Author
About the Author: Hope Bland is a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, business owner and author. Hope has a degree in early childhood education from Henry Ford College located in Dearborn, Michigan. She also attended University of Michigan School of Education. Hope spending time with her family, teaching young children, reading, and writing songs, and stories. About the Illustrator: Dante Anderson is a Michigan, American artist and Art teacher who enjoys Digital and traditional drawing and painting. “Creating art has always been a part of my life, and Inspiring dreams through art that will brighten the future of many will always be my passion and joy.”
