About the Book

MY MANIACAL MUSE is compiled of brevity, the macabre, confessional, fantasy, sonnets and more. Some of her poems are based on real life situations and others purely fictitious. If it touches you on any level, you were meant to read it!

About the Author

Dorinda was raised in a quaint, rural Pine Plains, in scenic The Mid-Hudson Valley Region of Upstate NY. With roots stemming back to the Shekomeko Indians in her home town, Dorinda feels blessed to be part of her "FIRST PEOPLE" heritage. She is the proud mother of 3 beautiful children and has three gorgeous grand-daughters. Dorinda began writing poetry in 2008, shortly after her father passed. What started out as a tool for coping, writing quickly became her passion. Her goal is to make the reader FEEL her words.
