About the Book
It’s not that I’m lost Or don’t know who I am. I’m where I belong and happy. But those questions, Always questions but never answers. I’m a wife, a Mother, and a Grandmother. I’m strong, independent, a survivor. My faith is true and I love life. But those questions. Cathy Crawford knows that expressing feelings can be challenging. In her first collection of poetry, she shares poignant and relatable verse with the hope of helping others not only learn to articulate their own feelings, but also find an identity and purpose in life, just as she has through her poetry. Crawford, who first started writing as a way to work through the emotions of feeling like an outsider in her world, offers a poetic glimpse into her journey through life as she reflects on failure, self-acceptance, memories, grief, love, faith, and family. Through touching lyrical verse, Crawford encourages others to embrace their own unique journey through life, find freedom from their past, and look forward to the future with gratitude. Poems of My Life shares one woman’s walk through life as she explores her emotions, learns to love herself, and discovers the secret to living fully.
