Luke and His Amazing Time Machine

Luke ran down to his dads shed at the bottom of the garden, it was huge, Luke loved his dads shed he thought it was the best place ever to find treasures. In it he could find everything he needed to make his machine. Luke opened the door. "Wow!.." he said, "look at all these lovely treasures".To anyone else the stuff he saw would be considered as junk; old bits of engines from motorcycles, lawn mowers, worn car seats, bits of wood, paint, wheels, the remains of a go cart, but to Luke they were ingredients for the adventure of a life time. Luke dragged out lots of pieces and parts that he thought he would need to build his creation. He was putting the first pieces together, when he heard a whistling from the back fence. He knew that whistle, it was his friend Max. Over the fence Max climbed, "Hi, what you doing?" asked Max. Max was Luke's best friend. " I thought you were going away for the holidays, Max?" Luke sounded sad. "Not anymore, my dad has to go away on business so we are staying home now." "That's great news". Luke voice now had a happy tone to it. "I'm making a time machine. Would you like to help me? We could have some great adventures this summer." "I would love to." Max answered enthusiastically. .They started work immediately, hammering, banging and fixing until it was time for them to go home to bed. "See you tomorrow Max." "Yeah see you. Bright and early".
