About the Book
This book should be read by sole proprietors, LLCs. Private corporations, public corporations, SMEs, NGOs, church leaders, and leaders of nations. This book is timely for our world that is going through perilous times. The title of the book is The Eight Principles of Doing Business with Collaboration in the Earth. Collaboration is normally considered when national disasters prevail. Our world has been going through financial disasters, social disasters, and health disasters. As a result, the nations of the world, whatever size or status, must embrace collaboration as proposed in this book. Gen. 4:6–9 (NKJV) records how we may behave. 6) So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7) “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” 8) Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. 9) Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” This book offers through the Word of God that we are our brother’s keeper. When we do business in the earth, we must choose collaboration to replenish the earth with the eight principles: benefit, uniqueness, strategy, innovation, necessity, execution, success, and sustainability.
About the Author
Ralph Collymore ventured into the realm of doing business with competition in the early 1980s. He transitioned from a social welfare officer (government of Trinidad and Tobago) to an entrepreneur, owning and operating seven Christian bookstores during that period. He, his wife, and four children migrated to the USA in 1989 and resided in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, until June 1999. In July 1999, he and his family settled in Margate, Florida, and still reside there. He completed his baccalaureate degree at Norwich University in 1997. He then completed his MBA from American InterContinental University in 2003, his MS in organization and management in 2006 from Capella. He is at present pursuing his DBA (specialization: entrepreneurship) at Walden University. Over the past thirty years, he continues to be a pastor. Over the period he has ministered the Word of God and continues to minister in the USA, Canada, the Caribbean Nations, Ghana, and South Africa. He also taught business and management courses at Keiser University from 2006 to 2008 and maintains his management consulting practice through ownership of Business God’s Way Inc. In the midst of these good things, he suffered with renal failure and has been subjected to dialysis three times per week since 2008. Because of the general debility that seems to accompany his dialysis treatment, he has been rendered disabled over the past five years. It was because of the daily negative mental escapades that continually assailed him that forced him to verbally confront his thinking. At first the verbal confrontation was relatively passive. He then started to say what God said and began to subdue his thoughts. He discovered that he had to renew his mind with the Word of God. He discovered he had to write this book for himself and for the world. He found the voice God gave him. He discovered that the writing of “The Eight Principles of Doing Business with Collaboration in the Earth” has given him purpose for living well in the earth. This book is to gives anyone the initiative to pursue “The Eight Principles of Doing Business with Collaboration in the Earth.” E-mail: rcollymore@outlook.com. Tel. (954) 655-0163.
