About the Author

About the Author Pamela is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and currently resides in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with the “real-life” Georgie Girl. The real Georgie Girl is so loved by her family and friends, with a personality that makes everyone she meets smile. Pamela felt that she had to share Georgie Girl with the world. Georgie Girl is now an eight-year-old who continues to be the star of the show each and every day. Pamela has written five books in the series “The Adventures of Georgie Girl,” which include the following: One Very Loved Pug, Anchors Away for the Day, When Pugs Fly High, Beach Bound and Round, and On a Leash at the Beach. About the Illustrator Melia has been drawing and painting all of her life with the love and support of her family. You can find her artwork up and down the coast on murals in many houses and resorts. She resides in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her family. As a triathlon athlete, she competes and is sponsored by Skechers. Melia contributes her many talents to her deep belief in God and has named her company Two Hands Art because she knows that it is her hand in the hand of the Lord that brings life to her artwork. Melia is always looking for a challenge and is proud of her illustration work in this book and looks forward to illustrating more books in the future.
