S.W.A.G.

A few hours, later, I heard a woman come into the house; she only stayed for a brief moment though. Being the nosy kid I was, I stood by my room door listening to what they were talking about. The door opened and closed again but it seemed as if someone had left. About ten minutes later there was another knock on the door. When my dad asked who it was I could slighly hear a woman's voice so I figured she was back. I started walking to the living room pretending to want some water so I could see what was going on. As I was about to turn into the kitchen , a big black man kicked the front door in along with another following behind him waving a gun at my dad and his friend Doug demanding money and drugs. I ran to my room quickly hoping that they didn't see me. My sister ran in behind me when she saw me running to my room. I peked from my room door still trying to be nosy but this time one of the men saw me. I can hear him yell at my dad asking who was in the back. My dad said to them in a crying manner, "THAT'S MY KIDS MAN, THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS JUST PLEASE LEAVE THEM ALONE, TAKE ANYTHING YOU WANT BUT NOT MY KIDS!" That was the first time I ever heard him stand up for us like that. In the meantime, my sister and I were in my room planning an escape. We started tying sheets together but before we could finish I peeped out the window and saw the two men running through the parking lot. I can hear Doug leaving the house immediately after the robbery took place and my dad still crying.
