About the Author
I have been writing poems since the begging of middle school ten years ago. Over the course of those years, I have developed my own unique style from the critiquing of friends, family, and teachers. Though my style of poetry is different, I value the rule "To understand a poem, you must read it three times to get the full meaning." A quote given to me by a college professor whose class I had attended over the summer in my high school years. A course in which my twin sister and I were constantly trying to outdo the other. I currently live in Columbia, Missouri, which in itself is referred to as a college town. There is a park not far from where I live. I visit it every now and again to watch the turtles pop their heads out of the water as my mind flows creative thoughts and pieces them creatively together into verses. I sometimes like to pretend that I'm sitting there talking to my favorite poetess, Emily Bronte. Her amazing work has inspired me in so many ways that I am hoping to return the favor to my readers. For inspiring others is the reason I write, live, and breath. Enjoy!
