Anger

Loving God, Your Word teaches us that a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1
May I not forget that it is written: "Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret - it leads only to evil." Psalm 37:8
Help us Jesus, to rid ourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language. Colossians 3:8
Father, enable me to follow the advice of Your servant, Paul: "In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." Ephesians 4:26-27
Thank you, Lord for guiding Your children to remember that everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. James 1:19

We will inevitably have anger, but we must not allow it to fester or keep the pain in our heart. Take time to ask God for help in overcoming the problem that caused you to get so upset.
The battle is in our mind - and that is where we need to take authority against it. The enemy will use anger to keep you from drawing near to our Father.
Anxiety

Dear God, I humble myself under Your mighty hand, that You may lift me up in due time. I cast all my anxiety on You because You care for me. 1 Peter 5:6-7
Help me Lord, to banish anxiety from my heart and cast off the troubles of my body. Ecclesiastes 11:10
Father: "When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy." Psalm 94:19
Certainly, "Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up." Proverbs 12:25
In my distress I can call to You LORD - and be answered. Even if I call for help deep in the realm of the dead, You would listen to my cry. Jonah 2:2

Attitude

"Your word, dear God, is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12
You bring us endurance and encouragement. Please give us the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had. Romans 15:5
Enable us to willingly apply this word: "Christ suffered in his body, so arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin." 1 Peter 4:1
In our relationships with one another, may we have the same perspective as Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5
Let us be able to say: "We have the mind of Christ and hold the belief, mindset and purposes of His heart." Corinthians 2:16
Lord, may the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

What kind of attitude is expected when we approach God in prayer? Are we sensitive to listen to His still quiet voice? After praying, do we wait on His answer? What is our commitment towards the things of God? Our attitude is about how we are thinking - and this overflows into how we move forward.
