About the Book

When something is tampered with, it is essentially damaged. The package is compromised, and the goods are contaminated. The Tampering of My Soul takes you on a journey into a young woman’s life who writes about motherhood, sexuality, drugs, and revolution. Her poetry is motivational, raw, and provocative. Makenzie challenges every woman to breathe in her power and femininity as if it is the only air there is.
