About the Author

Sarah Kloch Yantachka is a mother of three amazing children. If there was such an award, Sarah would be awarded for perfecting the changing of a diaper with one hand, while successfully doing her daughter’s hair with the other. Sarah is amazing at carpools, cleaning spit up, wiping noses, sneaking food, running after buses, and obsessing over everyone’s number twos amongst other important things. Sarah is a graduate from Albany College of Pharmacy. She practices as a pharmacist and lives in upstate NY with her husband, Joe. Sarah loves to help her children understand the importance of taking care of their bodies. Though the “little men” are fictional, they are relatable to her children. They allow for Sarah to be able to have conversations with her children at their level of understanding and for her children to want to take an active part in keeping their bodies (little men) safe and healthy. Marissa Ritter Dreibelbis graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Illustration. She has always been inspired by the world of children’s book art and the artwork of children in general, as it is the place that captivates imagination in its purest form. Marissa lives in Upstate New York with her husband and two children.
