Eclipsing Death 2

It was as the chimes from the town’s sixteenth century clock tower started to ring in the coming New Year, just like it had done the year before when Jane’s ghost had first appeared to me while beside her grave. Only this time it was as Lindsey was raising her glass to toast the future as we entered the year of 1999 again when Jane seemed to suddenly freeze where she was sitting, with her face turning bluer and a completely blank look appeared on her face before her mouth opened to speak; only the voice we heard was that of an older lady with great sadness in it. Lindsey being frightened stopped in mid sentence and her mouth dropped as we heard the woman’s voice say, “God used the power of the eclipse to bring Jane back from the dead so please do it again and save the children, and the others,” finishing off with “I’m begging you to please help them.” Then Jane collapsed into my arms and thankfully for us nobody else where we were had noticed anything. It was only a matter of seconds before she came around again saying, “What happened?” when her eyes opened “are we being called on babe?”
