About the Book

Now in my time on this earth, I have a habit of noticing things some things that other people don’t pay attention to and then some people do in a way. I happen to be one of those kind of people. So I’m going to tell you a little bit about it. You as the reader might find some insight and like what I say, but then again you might not. So with that being said, I hope you enjoy the material that I wrote. Now within these pages, you will read about some of the many changes that have happened over the decades to our society, and there are many reasons some of these are bad, but some of them have turned out good. I will say it is the opinion of this author in which I write these things. I leave it up to you, the reader of this book, to make up your own mind as to what is good and what is bad. And it is also the intention and the prerogative of this writer to perhaps repeat certain topics and/or things that are somewhat important to and for you, the reader.

About the Author

My name is Corwin Howard Morton III, MD, and all through my life, I have managed to do things that others would call either impossible or improbable; however, I make them happen and made them true. I’m told by some that I’m a renaissance man of sorts. I’ve done many things in my life. And I have helped many people in many ways, such as health and dental benefits as well as clothing, different types of housing, job leads, and other things. I am told that I have saved lives, and if so, it’s due to two things—one being my strong desire to live and the other one being the example I set for others because of what I’ve gone through and of course within the process of time itself. There are some other things I’m not too proud of, and those things, let’s just say they haunt me daily; let’s leave it at that. However, they all were in the name of life, liberty, and true Americanism and as a chaplain of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 1. I have always tried to improve life for myself and others. I am one of many that are trying to restore what we once had and what I and many others fought for in the name of freedom. I have stood by proudly and helped many of our esteemed men and women in the battles which we encounter each and every day of our lives. And even though I’ve fought a lot of my own battles for survival as well as for the many things either day by day or month by month and sometimes year by year, I have always looked up to and respected our armed forces and the many nuances in life that make up our society. And I have done my part in both helping and hopefully improving upon what we sought.
