“Ok; let’s spin this one for a minute” said Emily pulling her chair in and sweeping her hair back behind her shoulders. For the smallest of seconds Stuart felt that pang of nerves again like that invisible force in his mind was egging him on. “I’m a single woman at a bar, impress me” said Emily resting her head on her arms which she’d propped up on the table in front of her. Stuart thought the best approach in this situation was to use the art of imitation; almost like a child would learn from their parents. Resting his arms on the table he mirrored Emily’s pose as Emily batted her eyelids at him in an attempt to grab his full attention. It suddenly struck him at that very moment that she was actually quite attractive. “Emm, you look nice” said Stuart with a slight grin in an attempt to try and look appealing. Running in the opposite direction would have been a better alternative as he felt his sensitivity hitting the roof. Emily meanwhile had taken this last sentence quite well as she let her hair fall back in front of her face thinking what to say next. “Try making it a little more personal” replied Emily in an encouraging voice as Stuart paused again. “I personally think you look nice” said Stuart after a second of so of silence. Emily gave a small snigger which she quickly turned into a small sneeze as she felt her hands slide over her face in total embarrassment of the situation. “I really don’t understand girls

About the Author
S. R. Parish was born in 1993 and went to both Primary and Secondary School in Hertfordshire. At the age of Eleven he found out from his parents that he had been born with Aspergers Syndrome Disorder or ASD as it more commonly known which is a mild form of Autism. After seven years long years at Secondary School he was awarded the McDermot Gill Award for endevouear after being heavily bullied in that time. Over the many years of his life he has met the very challenges in life and succeded where most people with Autism would most likely fail.
