About the Author
John Antonakos is a retired electrical engineer who holds degrees in physics and electrical engineering. He was employed as an electrical engineer for over forty years, thirty-two of which were with the United States Army at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. He has always been interested in philology, history, ethnography, and biography. Being of Greek background, he is especially interested in exploring his roots. This has resulted in his writing five books covering Greek language, history, and biography. He has also written a book expounding his philosophy. His reading has developed in his mind that for a person to live properly, he must read widely. This book is an effort to present to readers the classical literature of the world in compact form, so that they may more readily become aware of it.
