About the Book

Sometimes even friendly greyhounds get lonely. Rather than take a nap, Carl chooses to go for a walk instead. Along the way, he makes new friends in surprising places, discovering that friends show up unexpectedly and come in many forms.

About the Author

Author: Deborah is a nurse, whose lifelong love affair with animals and nature has sustained her through difficult times, and made the good times more joyous. A whimsical imagination has her seeing seeing friendly faces all around us. The desire for others to be comforted and nurtured by their own creative imagination is what inspired her to write this book.

Illustrator: Jeanni Kistler is a self taught artist who has been creating and improving her art successfully since high school. She was born, and continues to live in Northeast Pennsylvania. Jeanni volunteers for greyhound rescue, and her advocacy for that dear breed inspired her to add greyhound themed art to her wide array of subjects.
