About the Book

Boet Bob is currently a mathematics professor and is a retired corporate executive and business founder. In his spare time, he enjoys writing “boems.” He calls them boems because he does not always (if ever) conform to the rules of poetry. He writes for his own enjoyment and expresses his viewpoints in the way that makes him happy. Therefore, he develops his own rules and calls them the rules of boetry. The central theme of his boetry is best expressed in the following: You only have to look inside yourself to see your future then trust and believe in what you see. For the beauty of life starts within. It is the belief in yourself that will set you truly free.

About the Author

Boet Bob has been a successful business leader and educator. He has traveled throughout much of the world and has many experiences that helped refine the person he is. His experience as a corporate leader of a large organization and as a college mathematics professor gives him a perspective that he wishes to share for whatever it may be worth. His over fifty years of professional life has given him a perspective on life that he is often asked to share as an invited guest speaker. He is often asked to provide his insight on what it takes to be a success in life…both as a person as well as a professional. The author is currently a mathematics professor and is a retired corporate executive and business founder. In his spare time he enjoys writing to inspire people of all ages to look inside themselves and see their inner beauty. The author does not attempt to present himself as an accomplished writer. He enjoys writing poetry but does not want to confuse his poems with the great poets of today and yesteryear. He does not call himself a “poet.” Rather, he amusingly refers to himself as a “Boet Bob” who writes “Boems”.” He calls them boem’s because he does not always (if ever) conform to the rules of poetry…and he does not care. He believes that the message is the most important part of writing…more so than if an ellipsis is used instead of a comma. He has read his boems in public and “bublished” them on social media to a welcoming audience. It was the positive feedback he received that he decided to “bublish” his work more formally...this Book Of Boems. He writes for his own enjoyment and expresses his viewpoints in the way that makes him happy…and has found that those who have read his boetry feel inspired by his boems. A central theme of many of Boet Bob’s Boems is that to have a rich life a person has to feel good about themselves. To be self-confident and have a strong sense of self-worth. These are the foundation for feeling beautiful inside. And when you feel beautiful inside, you will look beautiful to all who see you on the outside and that you will view nature in a more beautiful light. Another major theme is his belief in the duality of people and nature and that the true richness of life results from a connection between the aesthetic beauty of nature and the inner beauty a person feels about themselves. “For what is more important in life your very existence and reason for living Then to be on a rock with a friend in need Looking out…together…as one…and you giving hope to the other.”
