Sophia’s Adventure

About the Book

Sophia is a beautiful seven-year-old girl. The story starts on the first day of summer vacation. The day is full of normal activities, like eating breakfast, playing with her dog Abby, going to gymnastics practice, and then having lunch with her mom and sister. The day takes a turn when Sophia is playing with two of her friends and they decide to travel to the community pool without their parents’ permission. When an accident happens, Sophia has to display courage and quick action and save one of her friends from drowning. On her way home, she gets lost and finds herself in the woods with a family of wolves. What happens next is a wonderful adventure. During an entire days’ adventure, Sophia has many decisions and actions that she bases on her life’s experiences and especially from what her mom and dad have taught her.

About the Author

This is Vinnie’s fifth book. The previous four are about Leadership. Vinnie and his wife Tammie have two daughters, Meaghan and Sophia. They live in Texas. This story is about a fictional adventure involving his daughter Sophia. Vinnie was born in Pittsburgh, PA. His Mom Joyce and Dad Frank were a big influence on him and he has a twin brother, Frank and younger sister, Jill. He graduated Woodsville High School in NH. He has a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Campbell University, NC. Vinnie retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the Air Force after 21+ years as a Combat Controller in Air Force Special Operations. He is almost complete with his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and works in the Personal Finance industry. He has a passion for reading and writing, and he loves to run, lift weights, and do calisthenics.
