God’s ways are often unusual, even paradoxical, but they are His ways. The challenge for us lies in the fact that His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are His ways our ways. This means that each one must be spiritually re-educated; for to the natural man, the things of God are foolishness. Therefore, we all must go through the “school” of the Holy Spirit to have our lives transformed by the renewing of our minds. Without this process, we will not be able to prove what is good and acceptable to God; neither will we truly know Him. This book ‘When Reverse is Forward’ holds forth many spiritual lessons that will help the reader understand the often-mysterious ways of God. Sometimes, God acts in strange and in seemingly contradictory ways; but all His works have the hallmark of wisdom stamped upon them. The contents of this book will help believers to understand some of them.

About the Author

Rev. Stephen Goundry is the founder and senior pastor of the International Christian Institute; located in Boca Raton, Florida. Stephen and his family came to the United States of America in October 2000 after living all of their previous lives in England. Before his arrival to the United States, Stephen had been a missionary to Russia, East Germany and Romania. It was the overwhelming needs that he found in Romania that caused him to form the U.K. Charity ‘Operation Joseph’ - bringing humanitarian aid to the poor of Eastern Europe. The International Christian Institute began in 2002 as a Florida not-for-profit religious organization in order to continue the spiritual and humanitarian work of medical missions. Many countries in South America, Central America and the Caribbean have benefited from this ministry. In 2008, the ministry became a church in which many other aspects of God’s work could then be accomplished. The International Christian Institute has its own School of Ministry along with a Minister’s Fellowship in which credentials are offered to those who graduate the school and for Ministers everywhere who desire to join. Along with Pastor Stephen’s preaching and teaching, has been his much-needed mentoring of Christian leaders. His abilities in this area have been deeply appreciated; and he has become for many – a ‘Minister’s Minister.’
