About the Book

It’s been a cold few months with a lot of snow. But one quiet evening, I hear the familiar sound of the spring peeper frogs. My favorite sound means I can come out of hibernation and start my journey. My only goal is to get to my family, and nothing will stop me. There are many obstacles, but I am brave and I love the thrill of an adventure!

About the Author

Megan Hartshorn published her first children’s book in 2010. She enjoys writing about friendship and love. Her inspiration comes from her beautiful children and an abundance of flavored coffee. Although she loves the beach, she is a Buckeye at heart. Being from Ohio, she is fond of football, backyard campfires and experiencing all four seasons in the same week, no seriously, it happens.
