About the Book

This small book of poetry entitled Dreams to Reality exhibits the gift God has given to me. The content of this material stems from my interactions with others, various situations I have found myself entangled with, and the different situations family and friends have encountered. It would appear that when we find ourselves at our lowest points in life, in our deepest valleys God is there guiding and directing us. He inspires us according to his will. What he has planned for our lives. It is to no avail that the material you are about to read was inspired by the Holy Father. I trust that this material inspires and enlightens you—that it influences you to see the world from a positive prospective and that it draws you closer to the Holy Father that you may be receptive in receiving the love and blessings that he has stored up for you, as you continue on the Christian journey, as you await for his return.

About the Author

Louston L Fountain was born April 12, 1957 unto the late Louston and Thurkiell Marie Fountain in the small town of Salisbury Maryland, 32 miles west of the famous beach resort Ocean City Maryland. As a small child Louston recalls his parents loading the car with neighborhood children caring them to the famous beach resort. Louston graduated in 1976 from James M Bennett High School. Upon graduation he joined the US Navy and was assigned to the USS Trenton LPD 14, traveled the Mediterranean Sea, Europe and Spain. Louston married his high school sweetheart, Michelle Anderson, and out of that union came three beautiful children, Tonya, Louston Jr, known as Tae and Whitney Marie. As a child Louston never wrote or read any poetry. It wasn’t until 1985 when Louston entered a rehabilitation center, New Beginnings at Warwick Manor when Louston realized God had given him an extraordinary gift of writing poetry. While at Warwick Manor Louston composed his first poem, A Thought of Inspiration. Since his first poem, Louston has been writing poems and songs for love ones and friends ever since. Louston’s turmoil in life with alcohol and drug abuse lead to his divorce. His trials and tribulations in life lead him to Christ and enhanced his gift of writing poetry and songs. As you read his works, you’ll feel what his heart, mind and soul was experiencing as he wrote these poems and odes to be enjoyed by everyone. Louston is currently living in the great state of Maryland, working on volume 2 and thank the Lord every day for bringing him through those dark years of heart break and self-inflicted slavery.
