About the Book
A story of life on the buses in Bristol in the sixties, seventies, eighties, and nineties. The amusing story is the viewpoint of a driver who progressed to inspector, working long hours and enjoying the variety of meeting the public. He observed many changes and fiddles over the thirty years in the job.
About the Author
William known as Bill or Tugs was born in Shropshire and went to St Josephs college in London. He met his wife Gill at 17 whilst visiting Bristol and never left. They married and they have 5 children 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren . Bill spent all of his working life working on the buses and retired as an inspector. He started writing this book whilst he was still employed on the buses and he retired when he was aged 60.
