“Hitheranyon,” called Mom and Dad. “Where will you fly Today?”

Many forests, flowers and Milkweed plants have been cut down.
Believe me, that’s not good!”
“Take care Hitheranyon”, called Mom and Dad as he flew up to the Sky.
“Go help your Monarch Butterfly Friends!” He turned and waved Good-bye.

About the Book
Hitheranyon the Friendly Dragon is off again to Hither and Yon, this time with his Monarch Butterfly friends.
As Hitheranyon sets out on a determined quest to help his colorful winged friends journey to Mexico before the Winter’s cold, he soon learns that the butterflies are in danger. Their food source—the milkweed plant—is being cut down faster than ever. As their sad story of survival spurs him into action, Hitheranyon carries the butterflies on his powerful back when they are too tired to fly. But it is not long before Hitheranyon realizes that one great idea is all it takes to change the world, one small step at a time.

About the Author
Argaille A. Di Matteo began writing music, poetry, and stories when she was a child. Her parents inspired Argaille and her sisters to fly as did Hitheranyon’s parents in her first book. Now a retired music educator, Argaille continues to inspire others to fly as a church music director, poet, composer and author of children’s books.
