A new girl joins class 3 of Hilltop School in the fells of Cumbria. She seems to be too good to be true, but is she all she seems? The story takes us on a class journey of getting to know the new girl and gradually valuing her differences. Friendships develop, and the new girl reveals secrets. As her life takes a dramatic turn, the girl finally finds security and happiness.

About the Author

Angela Anwyl has worked as a Primary School teacher, a Primary School Headteacher and an Educational Consultant, having taught in both the U.K. and Canada. Eager to share her love of words with her grandchildren, Angela enjoys creating stories for them. She took up writing children’s stories as a way to remember their favourites. All her stories have been written for, and inspired by these five – her fiercest critics. It must be said that the youngest ones do not always appreciate her use of artistic license to veer from the absolute truth!
