About the Author

Of Dutch descent and first generation born Canadian, Jan Willemsen was born and raised in Toronto Canada where he married. Leaving the city with his wife and two young children they moved into their second home, making it their permanent residence. It was here where they raised their children. With his children now grown, having left the nest, Jan and his wife recently earned the honorable title of grandparents. Located in the subregion of Southern Ontario, Grey County was always the place to be for Jan growing up. It was Here, Jan found his passion to write this story.
