About the Book
One of the most spectacular events in Washington State is the arrival of thousands of migrating birds, especially snow geese and trumpeter swans. The rich farmlands provide these birds with food as they build up the energy required for their long flight. This fun nature photography book introduces children to some of the birds found in the Pacific Northwest, including the huge flocks of snow geese that feed here in the winter. Go on an adventure of discovery in nature and learn with your child or grandchild! Look for the author’s first grandma book, Gideon and Grandma Visit Camano Island State Park, which is also a nature adventure for children!
