Dino and Spike kept yelling and running. People were gasping and jumping out of the way as Dino and Spike ran by with the man in the cart heading toward the police department. They ran across the street without looking. Cars were screeching to a stop. Dad could hear the noises coming from outside. He got up and went outside. He could see Dino and Spike running toward him. Dino and Spike had quite a crowd around them. “DAD!! DAD!!” they yelled. “We got him. We got the Tuxedo Bandit!”

About the Book
Dino and Spike are on their winter break from school. They borrow Santa’s sleigh to rescue Ted the turkey, to find a safe place for him. To their surprise, Ted is returned to them as a new family pet. After Christmas, they go to work with Dad and become junior deputies for the day. They cause chaos throughout the town but become heroes in the end when they capture the tuxedo bandit.
