About the Book

Harriet is a young hippo who dreams of escaping her tranquil life in the river. She wants to migrate, like some of her animal friends. However, after a few misadventures, Harriet learns a very important lesson: At home with her family and friends is where she really belongs.

About the Author

Ángela López, a former teacher from Colombia, has lived in Argentina, Japan, Bali, Singapore, Spain, and now Switzerland. Her passions include writing, painting, and yoga. A frequent visitor to Africa, Angela has spent time in South Africa, Botswana, and most recently, Kenya, where she works as a volunteer with underprivileged children.
