About the Book
The Dark Mind of Poetry is simply that—poetry’s dark side of thinking. It’s the forbidden conversation at the dinner table, the closet’s skeletons, the act of sin. The world has two sides: beauty and pain. Everything ugly has pain involved in some way. However, all the painful events are beautifully ugly in The Dark Mind of Poetry. Whether you take on a negative or positive effect after entering this world is your decision. Still, I suggest you choose carefully. You don't want to become a chapter in this book...
About the Author
India Iman Holder has been creating poetry and short stories since she was six years old. Even though she could not read or write properly (until reaching the third grade), India still managed to express her creativity by saying her thoughts aloud. After experiening trauma from a home invasion and dealing with obesity and bullying, she has decided to write "The Dark Mind of Poetry" to inspire others to turn their pain into art. To express themselves in a nonviolent way. While keeping in mind that their situation could be much worse than it is currently. Internal toture can become inner peace just from drawing, writing, even planting. Everyone can be an artist, because everyone has experienced some type of pain. India lives in Florida with her mother and her 5 siblings, and is on the path of becoming a well known poet and writer.
