FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen [Hebrews 11:1] two words describes our faith: confidence and certainty. These two qualities need a secure beginning and ending point. The beginning point of faith is the belief in God's character He is who He says He is. The point is the belief in God's promises. He will do what He says He will do. We believe that God will fulfill his obligations even though we don't see those promises materializing. This is when we demonstrate true faith.

Dr Hall is the pastor for New Piney Grove Baptist Church in Eastman, Ga. She also has her Doctorate in Ministry and is a Chaplain for the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. She is a lifelong Christian who never misses an opportunity to help those with spiritual difficulties.
