Breaking Forth

God can turn shame to glory in one shining moment of redemption. So many arise every day wondering why death did not rescue them in the night from the depression and anxiety that greet them in the morning. They crave for the stranger who will lend a body to be the opiate that will satisfy the emptiness and endless longing for acceptance and recognition. They become slaves to activities of fleshly gain hoping to get rid of the pain from Misplaced Identity Syndrome and undiscovered purpose. There is a great multitude walking around with untapped reservoirs of greatness. Interestingly, it is only after God allows us to experience some major eruptions in life, that we break forth into an awareness of purpose and self-discovery. When we experience these volcanic eruptions, there is a shaking that causes detachment and ‘things’ that were seemingly attached to our souls are loosened and fall from us. From the ashes we emerge with such beauty that transcends cosmetic overlays. Isaiah 61:3 (KJV) 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. There might be days when you wake up and it feels like your mind is locked in a tunnel, and everything seems to be upside down, and you can feel the bumps and jolts that come with intense turbulence. During these times, you must fasten your belt, adjust your altitude and get ready to break forth above the cumulus clouds of despair into a zone of stability and security that is consistent with the plan of God for your life. If you are experiencing spiritual atmospheric instability, with unpredictable moments of unrest and disorder, you need to know without any reservation or doubt that you are made to win. You are an overcomer. You are more than a conqueror. You are the indomitable image of your Creator. You are unassailable and empowered to surmount every obstacle. You can subdue every force from hell that threatens your destiny. You can weather any storm. Remember you have ‘hidden greatness’ on the inside of you and this is your season to break forth. There is an omnipotent, loving God with whom absolutely nothing is impossible. He is El Gibbor the Mighty God. He is Jehovah Mephalti your deliverer. There is nothing that he cannot do. He is your battle axe who wins every battle on behalf of his people. Jeremiah 51:20 (KJV) 20 Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war… He is bigger than all your problems, bigger than all your fears, bigger than any mountain in your life. He is bigger than your past and greater than your future.
