Hebrews 6:19, we have this hope as an anchor for our souls, firm and secure. (ESV) Jamila's poetry and prayers are expressions of this hope. They most often resemble lament psalms. She walked the journey of Chronic Depression alone and in silence for a long time, but after coming to acknowledge and accept the love of Christ She has learned that she never was really alone. Her silent cries were always heard. She opens up the archives of her personal journals to provide encouragement to others who share similar burdens, and really just anyone who is willing to hear about the awesomeness of our great God.
