About the Book

What started as a spontaneous awareness of the 7 Sacraments within my Catholic Religion, turned into a wonderment about the number 7. Thoughts and questions began to form and fill my mind. My first thoughts were the basics of 7 days of creation, 7 days a week, 7 seas, 7 continents and from there, it was as if a switch was flipped! This mild curiosity of sevens turned into a roaring passion as I began to see sevens interlaced and connecting the world around us. My obsession and research of seven opened my mind to new depths. If three sixes is an indication of the fallen angel, Satan, does three 7’s lift faith of our creator to the highest level as our “Supreme Being”? I’ve learned I am not alone. There are many 7 enthusiasts dating back to ancient times with different beliefs, laws, practices and wisdom. Seven appears in religions, in classifications about our world depicting natural, ancient and man-made wonders and most recently I saw that seven is showing up in the ways that we organize, are taught and how we learn. This has brought me to the realization that groups of seven are easily recognized, memorized and retained with greater clarity for many people. Perhaps Seven is the common thread throughout our world allowing us to function best in society while providing a peace within our souls allowing us to easily embrace, live and practice life while we are alive. I share with you now, my collection of Sevens. I hope you will ask you own questions and find your own sevens. This search is not complete; it will remain with me forever.

About the Author

Madeline Stevens’ journey through spiritual energy work has brought her to numerous levels of awareness. Her recognition of the connection of sevens to the body and throughout the world was an unconscious realization during her nephew’s Religious Catholic Ceremony of Communion 21 years ago. Since this Ah-hah moment, she has studied and practiced several modalities of body massage therapies along with alternative therapies for all bodies well being. She has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Healtheology. Additionally, she holds certifications of Shiatsu (Japanese Acupressure Massage, which follows the same meridian points of acupuncture but in lieu of needles, finger pressure is applied) Tuina, (Chinese Massage capable of resetting bone structure and releasing imbalances in the body. This was studied at the Beijing Hospital in China), Shen Therapy (body work which aids the body in releasing trapped emotions within the 7 energy centers by way of placement of hands during the work) and Reiki (Ancient Japanese Body Energy Work that balances the Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit). Other non certified studies include Aromatherapy, Herbs, Crystals, Homeopathy and the power of salts. These passions and studies have allowed her to grow her list of sevens across more than two decades. An avid traveler, she was able to embrace the energies of our world’s wonders in many different locations. She continues to this day, with her search of more. In addition to all of her studies, she has raised two sons who are wonderful men with great integrity and operated a linen rental supply service TableTop Fashions, for 30 years.
