One by one, The Dream Team was formed with a diverse group of friends, lovers, ex-inmates and acquaintances, Houston and Wilamina both ex-inmates from the Lancers Women's Prison were the originators and motivators. They wanted to be positive influences on others who have experienced damaging and chaotic childhoods, like they experienced. They came up with the idea of helping teenagers sent to juvenile hall and aiding the newly released women from Lancer's Prison. The group called themselves the Dream Team. The goals were threefold, to teach self-worth, give hope to those who felt hopeless and to reduce recidivism rate into prisons and other detention centers. A six month program was developed which proved to be of a great benefit to many inmates. The Dream Team dream had proved their point that the worst thing to be without…………hope.

About the Book
This is a murder mystery. A story about inmates from prison and juvenile hall who discover their inner beauty, the power they have to make right choices and their first glimpse of hope for a better life. The Dream Team formed with a diverse group of friends, lovers, ex-inmates and acquaintances. Houston and Wilamina were in-mates at the same time in Lancers Womens’ Prison. They both had received long sentences for murder. Mr. Lagunta, an attorney, took on their cases and had the guilty charges reduced to involuntary manslaughter. Once they were released, they decided to dedicate themselves to helping others make better choices and thus the Dream Team was born.
About the Author
Donna Underwood is a retired registered nurse who has been involved in grief work for over twenty years. She is the author of three nonfiction books and five mystery novels and lives in Kennewick, Washington, with her husband, two rescue dogs, and five rescue cats.
