About the Book
These poems are a firsthand account of the events, thoughts and feelings experienced on Polish soil during the conflict of World War II by Mr. Walter Zagaja, who passed away March 17, 1996. They were translated into English from a diary he kept. Mr. Zagaja was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Polish Branch No. 412 and the Polish Army Veterans Association S.W.A.P. No. 172.
About the Author
Christina is carrying on her father's love of history and passing down to others the knowledge of his generation through a soul-full telling of life during the War Years in Poland as written by him. Christina is an administrative assistant by day and an energy healing practitioner, at other times. Christina was born in Kitchener, Ontario and lives in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
