About the Author

Dr. Jon Kester was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin where throughout his childhood he had a passion for books and learning. This passion led to Jon Kester getting a Doctorate in education and becoming a college professor with a strong desire for learning. When Dr. Kester’s three children were born his new mission was to not only be an advocate for education but also parent’s involvement in their children’s learning through being role models. This led to Dr. Kester to write children’s books where parents would be able to interact and teach their children through reading together. Jon’s first book was published in 2013 called My Daddy Wears a Tutu, which is a wonderful story about a little girl who loved to follow her daddy around doing unexpected activities. Jonathan Jaxson: the World’s Strongest Baby was the next book written (2016) and was a featured book around the nation at many book fairs. In 2018 Dr. Kester released the Sasquatch Hairdresser, which quickly gained notoriety internationally in countries such as the Philippine’s and Ireland. Kester currently resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin where he enjoys spending time cheering on the Packers and training for bodybuilding competitions. He also has many more children’s books in the works for the near future so stay tuned.
