Based on real events, this beautifully illustrated inspirational story is for parents and babies who have been or are going through unexpected life-threatening medical experiences at the early stage of baby’s life. Capturing the unconditional love and bond of Grayson and his mother, it highlights key elements of the recovery process and shows the importance of remaining optimistic, having faith, and being in good spirits in spite of all the emotions and uncertainty. About the Author

As the owner of an HR consulting firm, Charnay Parks did not start off expecting to write a book about a baby in the NICU. The inspiration for this came after the unforeseen period of time she spent with her firstborn baby boy, Grayson, at the NICU in Children’s Hospital, Dallas, Texas, during the extraordinary COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. Having gone through the struggles of a new mother who had to cope with the isolating restrictions of the pandemic as she watched over her ailing baby, she hopes her work will provide some comfort to other parents going through similar situations. Faith, grace, perseverance, and drive are the root of her accomplishments. Grayson and Charnay enjoy long walks, traveling and spending time with family.
