About the Book

Criminals have taken over Sonar City. With its citizens now terrified, six heroes who have just been zapped into popsicle sticks by a weird drone step forward to save the town from madness. Motivated by their fearless leader Lasso Lady, Mind Mover, the Wrestler, Speedy, Waterman, and Little Timmy must utilize their special talents to defeat the Bad Boys Crime Squad before they cause more damage. But as Reign of Terror and his loyal villains fight to maintain their power over the town, they are about to discover that the Super Sticks don’t play—they slay! In this exciting tale, six popsicle stick heroes must do everything in their power to save Sonar City from evil criminals determined to destroy it.

About the Author

Brianna Nichole, the seven-year-old future superstar, writer, director, and producer, was born and currently lives in Houston, Texas. Brianna is a bright and talented second grader. At three years old, Brianna declared that she wanted to be a Youtube star. She had her mother and brother record her playing with playdough and toys as she played and explained her creations. Then, at four years old, she started writing skits for her family to act out—mainly superhero, adventure, and social storylines. She wrote and acted in her first home film, Goodbye Tony!, starring her brother as the protagonist, who is being bullied and has to learn to stand up for himself. Other skits followed, and at seven years old, she wrote the sequel to her first film, Goodbye Tony 2: Portal Adventures. Brianna has been drawing and creating short stories since 2021 and aspires to be like her idol Dav Pilkey. She is fascinated by the comedy and characters in his books. Her favorite series are Dogman and Captain Underpants. Brianna created Super Sticks in 2022 while in her room doing crafts. When asked how she came up with the idea of Super Sticks, she replied, “I use popsicle sticks for arts and crafts and it made me wonder how my favorite heroes would look if they were turned into sticks.” Drawing and imagination play have always been ways for Brianna to relax and escape reality. Being a younger sister to an older brother, Brianna is constantly exposed to many DC and Marvel movies, series, and toys. Brianna was so confident that her book Super Sticks would sell that she drew multiple copies of her original book and asked how much the book would sell for. Days later she wanted to know if her books had sold out on Amazon yet. Between the ages of three and seven, her imagination has grown, and her characters and storylines have developed and come to life.
